A Message from the Owner - August 2024
Hey Friends,
Question for you; Have you ever dreamed big for yourself, only to have the opportunity finally arrive and feel both excited and fearful?
What I have come to believe is that much of our stress stems from fear and the lack of courage to overcome it.
Fear is a normal emotion, but the question is whether we live in fear and let it hold us back from living our dreams or do we find the courage to move forward.
As I signed my new lease for Bear, I found myself feeling the fear creep in. My thoughts went to , what if I don't get enough business, what if my staff doesn't stay, what if I lose everything that supports me and my son? In that moment, I turned on my courage and turned inward to face my fear and trusted my own wisdom.
This fear shows up in so many ways. In businesses, in relationships, in how our story unfolds.
Early on when my son was diagnosed with Autism, I had such a hard time releasing that fear. Now I am able to catch myself quickly so not to let it sabotage my mother-son connection and joy. Did fear go away completely? No, but I won't let it have as much power over me as I did early on. You see, fear can be a blessing in disguise if we choose to see it that way. Putting our energy into courage turns fear into a stepping stone for living our best life and inspiring those around us.
So when you're feeling fearful, take a few breaths and look deep within your heart, draw up some courage and face your fear.... maybe even talk to it in a loving way.
As we expand from Bear River Massage to Bear River Wellness Spa, I draw on my courage, guidance from God-Creator and trust in my community that the risk is worth it.
So practice facing your fears and transform to move towards your dreams and don't look back!
Thank you for your support, belief in our staff, and the benefits of health and wellness!
Big Bear Hug, Linda Osorio
