A Message from the Owner - September 2024
Hey Friends!
As we kick off a new season and our new expansion, I’ve been thinking about our amazing massage therapists.
You know, we often book a session to ease pain or keep our bodies in check, but they do so much more than that! They’re there for us in a deeper way, holding space for us—whether it’s just being there to focus on your physical body, listen to your happy stories or supporting you through tough times.
In my 20 years as a massage therapist, I’ve heard so many stories, from heartbreaks to big wins, and I’ve always been right there with my clients, just like our therapists are with you.
So, next time you come in for a session, remember it’s not just about your body. We’re here for your mind and spirit too. Look loneliness is real for a lot of us even, if you are surrounded by a lot of people.
Your massage therapist at Bear River is here to build real connection with you, laughing with you, educating you, and making sure you never feel alone. So let’s take this month to appreciate what really makes our business special—our therapists, our front staff, and our genuine desire to bring comfort and care to our community!!
This autumn, we have so much to celebrate with our exciting expansion! As I lay the foundation for a spectacular re-grand opening, I am incredibly honored to have such a fantastic team by my side and a supportive community that will benefit from these new services. This journey is driven by my passion, and I can't wait to share it with you!
So let’s talk a little bit more about my passions : )
As many of you know, I’ve been dedicated to serving our community through massage therapy, teaching yoga, and qi gong for 20 years. This year, I’ve come to realize that this work is truly my "passion work", and I’m committed to continuing to offer what I believe is the antidote to today’s stress.
Recently, I obtained my real estate license, which I view as my "livelihood work", a way to secure my future and ensure my autistic son will always have what he needs.
Having lived in this area since the early '80s, I have a deep connection to it and know it well. After exploring real estate, I’ve decided to pursue this field professionally, approaching it with the same conscious and caring mindset that guides my work in wellness.
My background in marketing and sales, combined with my mission to serve others, I feel positions me well in real estate! I recently sold one house, have 1 under contract and I am currently helping someone rent their home. I love helping people, I just need to start filling my cup as I do! You get it... right?
Some have asked, "Linda, how do you manage to do it all?" My answer is simple, I love what I do and I'm passionate about serving others. I don't watch TV or spend my time on experiences that are not aligned with my intentions, except for that one time I ignored my gut instinct while dating, keeping it real!
I work hard for weeks (sometimes months) at a time with no days off, then I take a week or two to recharge. This system works well for me, and I still have plenty of energy! I also credit this vitality to Qi Gong, mindfulness, and my connection with God
So, If you know anyone who could benefit from my services, I would greatly appreciate your referrals! Thank you in advance.... it helps me to keep helping you and our community.
And.. don't worry, I will always remain actively involved with Bear River Spa & Yoga and I am always available for you, just send me an email or call the Bear!
Thanks for reading this and thank you for being the best version of yourself today!
Always by your side, Linda Osorio, LMT, RYT, Realtor
PS Here is your affirmation of the month:
"By harnessing the positive energy within ourselves, we empower others to do the same, creating a ripple effect of support and mutual growth."
